Profiles Settings

Profiles Settings is a system app that is available on Amazon Fire OS devices. Its function is to manage everything related to the settings of the profiles you can have on these devices. Each user can have a personalized profile with their apps and services so that several people can use the same device.

Profiles Settings allows you to create new profiles and modify the settings of each profile. To add a new profile or change an existing one, simply swipe down the notification bar and look for the user icon.

This app is considered by some users as bloatware, meaning that it appears on many lists of apps that are safe to remove on these devices. However, doing this will most likely mean that you would be deleting an entire settings panel, and if you tried to access it, an error message would appear on the screen.

To remove system apps on Android or Fire OS, root permissions are required. Luckily, even if you do delete it, you can recover it and add it back into the system apps. So, if you need to re-add the app or update it, you can download the Profiles Settings APK.
